"Free Hannah"

http://www.freehannah.com/

You need to take the time to go to this website and pray for this family. My sister had been e-mailing me information about this for a while, and asking for prayer for the family. Last Friday, 20/20 aired a story about what was happening. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they did a fantastic job, which I never thought I would say. It is a sad, scary story if you aren't familiar with it. I love the scripture they have on the website. God's hand is in this, even though we can't understand. I know He must have an awesome plan for this family. So, let's get praying for this family!

I watched that when it aired the other night, and wasn't sure what to think through most of the show. Hannah doesn't sound very convincing when she was interviewed, but by the end of the show you have to believe that this wasn't her fault. The testimony from the 2 doctors was pretty convincing, and she definitely deserves a new trial. I think the reporter was right when she said that the jury couldn't have really understood the charges or they wouldn't have convicted her. The one good thing is that the husband isn't in jail, but I can't imagine how hard this has been for them.

You should read the FAQ on the website, it explains a lot that the interview didn't cover. When I watched the 20/20 interview, I was wondering if the blonde prosecutor had kids. I seriously doubt she did. I just kept thinking that could be me. I homeschool, I go to Calvary Chapel, up until last year, we had the video monitor on Caleb's bed to make sure he didn't get up in the middle of the night, my punishment method of choice for "bad words" for the boys is "cayenne pepper" on the tongue. Scary, scary stuff.
